She was born April 24, 1990, in Defiance, the daughter of Andrew and Lynn (Swary) Clady. She had completed her junior year at Holgate High School and was a member of its volleyball and track teams. She was a member of the school's basketball team, an All-Conference, All-District and All-State selection and voted MVP of the Holiday Classic Basketball tournament during the past season. She was a lifeguard at the Holgate village swimming pool and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria, where she was an altar server.
Surviving are her parents, New Bavaria; three brothers, Drew, Ross and Owen, at home; grandparents, Forrest Clady of Holgate, Carolyn Clady of Holgate and Paul Swary, Ottawa; and great-grandmother, Erma Clady, Napoleon.
Preceding her in death was a grandmother, Tabbie Swary.
