She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Benner.
She is survived by her children Edwin Benner, Rosetta Ozman and husband Donald, Lavina Meng, John Benner and wife Maryke; sister Marie Blackman and husband Clarence; brother Henry Williams; ten grandchildren; twelve g/grandchildren.
She was a nurse with the Army Nurses Corp. during the Korean War. She was a Nurse at the Austin State Hospital for 24 years. She was a member in good standing with the Creedmoor Union Church.
Pallbearers were her grandsons. Services were held February 18, 2005 at the Wilke-Clay-fish Funeral Home and internment followed at Creedmoor Cemetery, Creedmoor, Texas with Reverend Ross Hooks officiating.
