Dale O. Brown, age 88, of Millcreek passed away on Thursday, March 9th, 2006 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born in Conneautville, Pa. on January 17th, 1918 a son to the late Lloyd E. and Ethel B. Wilson Brown. He fought in WWII and received a Purple Heart as a member of the Army's Company H, 393rd Infantry Unit, 99th Division. He worked as a tool room foreman at Parker White Metal for 43 years retiring in 1983. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where he was active in Chosen and Koinonia and was a former member of Perkins Presbyterian Church. He also was a member of the Quarter Century Club at Parker White, volunteered at the Red Cross and participated in Habitat for Humanity projects. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lou Sanger Brown, whom he married on July 3rd, 1948; a son: David D. Brown, wife Susan of Broadview Heights, Oh.; a daughter Kathy L. Linnan, husband Anthony of Clarion, Pa.; four grandchildren Micki McBee, husband Matthew, Patrick Linnan, Trenton and Trevor Brown. He is also survived by three sisters Marge Kennedy, husband Sherman of Pierpont, Oh., Shirley, Loepp, husband Theodore of Girard and Nancy Babb, Jr. of Albion; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Leo L. Brown.
