Ella was the daughter of William Harper and Mary Murphy.
She married George C. Maylone. They were the parents of Harry H. Maylone.

Mrs. Maylone, 80, Goes in Death; Funeral Friday
Mrs. Ella Harper Maylone, 80, a life-long resident of Muscatine county, died at her home on Lake Park Boulevard at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Maylone had been in poor health for the past several years and had been seriously ill with complications since Sunday.
She was born July 30, 1858, in Lake township, the daughter of William and Mary Murphy Harper.
She was married to George C. Maylone, March 19, 1883, at Iowa City.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian church and of the Rebekah lodge.
Besides the husband, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Stella Turkle of Atalissa, Ia., and Mrs. Park Hubbard, of Detroit, Mich., two sons, John Maylone and Harry Maylone, both of Muscatine; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Enfield, of California; a brother, Charles Harper of Lake township; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Her parents, five sisters, four brothers and two children preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the George M. Wittich Funeral home with the Rev. A. L. Brandstetter, pastor of the United Brethren church, officiating.
The Rebekah lodge will participate in the services.
