YUKON – Charles Leroy Dotterer, 72, was born Jan. 25, 1940, in Cherokee to Joe and Elma (Harvey) Dotterer. He passed away Aug. 26, 2012, in Yukon.
Charles moved to Yukon in 1980. He was an avid OU football fan and enjoyed collecting and restoring tractors.
Charles loved country life and spending time with his grandchildren and friends. He enjoyed seeing his granddaughters participate with the Oklahoma Czechs, Inc.
Charles is survived by his children, Sheryle Kolar and husband, Bryan of Mustang, Jana Dotterer of Yukon, Kimberly Windle and husband, Jack of Blanchard, Kyle Osborne of Austin, Texas, Mark Harrison and wife, Laynette of Kingfisher, and Sheila Luedders and husband, Pat of Rantoul, Kan.; grandchildren, Katelynn, Abagail, Brandon, Garrett, Lauren, Landon, Macy and Kristen; siblings, Glenn Dotterer and wife, Connie of Oklahoma City and Delores Barrett and husband, Jerry of Cherokee; and numerous other family members.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, in the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
