Heart Disease Kills Mr. T. M. Whiteside

Mr. T. M. Whiteside, recently a resident of Elberton, died yesterday morning near Union, S.C.

His surviving children are Mrs. H. M. Sparks of Union, Mrs. Dorroh of Grey Court, Mr. Calvin Whiteside of Elberton, Mr. James Whiteside of Chester, Mr. John Whiteside of Greensboro, N. C., Mrs. W. D. Bewley of Chester and Mrs. Ed. Byars.

Mr. Whiteside, until a few months ago, was a resident of Elbert County. He resided with his son, Mr. C. C. Whiteside, just outside the city limits, and for a number of years lived on Heard Street, prior to moving to the country. He was a man of unassuming manners, but was considered an upright and enterprising farmer, and a man whose works was as good as his bond.
