He was the son of Simon P. Cady and Nora May Barnabee. He died of Coronary Occlusion and diabetes.
Harry Barnabee Cady, 66, a retired railroad employee died Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at his home on Park Avenue, Watseka. He had been in failing health for about 20 years.
He was born October 5, 1888 at Saybrook to Simon P. and Nora May Barnabee Cady, and spent his childhood in and attended schools at Onarga. His marriage was May 21, 1913 at Ashkum to Edna Keath of Crescent City. Prior to coming to Watseka in 1950, he resided at Earl Park, IN and at Onarga.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Brammer of Donovan, Mrs. Maxine Kinen of Earl Park, IN, and Mrs. Joseph Johnson of St. Anne; four sons, Donald Cady of Morocco, IN, Ronald Cady of Kankakee, Keith Cady of Grand Rapids, MI and Raymond Cady of Watseka; a brother Okel Cady of Earl Park, IN; and three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Moore of CO, Mrs. Maddie Dixon of Peoria and Miss Marie Cady of CA.
Two children, Delmar and Lois, and two brothers, Tom and Guy preceded him in death.
Mr. Cady was a member of the Pesbyterian Church at Onarga.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the Eastburn Funeral Home in Watseka with burial in the Body Cemetery, west of Woodland. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Thursday until the hour of the rites.
