WICHITA--Mike W. Adams, 76, died Sunday, May 29, 2005. Mr. Adams was President of WMA Corporation. He was a graduate of East High and W.S.U. and attended the K.U. School of Law. He was a lifemember of KU Alumni Association since 1959, Jayhawk Society member since 2000 and Delta Upsilon. He served in the Marine Corps, was onthe board of Heartspring, Wesley Foundation, Wesley Hospital and the Eye Foundation.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Adams Jr.
Survivors include his wife Joanne Adams; one son, Greg Adams and wife Misty of McKinney, Tex.; three daughters, Ashely Adams of Chicago, Ill., Elizabeth Adams of Manhattan and Jennifer Arnold and husband Brian of Wichita; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East.Visitation with the family will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mark H. Adams Sr. Scholarship Fund, School of Law in care of KU Endowment Association, P.O. Box 928, Lawrence, KS 66044-0928 or Heartspring, 8700 E. 29th Street North, Wichita, KS 67226.
