The obituary as it appeared in the newspaper.
Willard, March 31......the Funeral of Mrs. Ellenor Jones Call, who died March 26, of dilation of the heart, was largely attended, showing the high esteem in which she was held. Music was furnished by the Willard choir and by a quartet from Brigham City. The speakers were Bishop William J. Facer, President of the Stake, Oleen Stohl, Elders M.U. Dalton, John L. Edwards (who was a cousin), E.P. Gorden, John D. Peters, Dr. J.D. Harding (nephew), and Mrs. Mary Ellen Ward and Rachel Morgan.
Mrs. Call was a faithful Latter-day Saint and had been a devoted worker in the church all her life. She was born in Glamorganshire, South Wales, March 19, 1844, and was the daughter of Benjamin and Esther Davis Jones. Her parents among the first to accept the gospel in Wales, and Ellenor was baptized by her father when she was eight years old. In charge of four younger children she emigrated to Utah in 1866, her father and one sister having proceeded her. She walked most of the way from the Missouri River and despite the privations and hardships she regarded it as a trip of joy and satisfaction.
In 1867, she became the wife of Omer Call, a pioneer of Willard, and 11 children, seven of whom grew to maturity, were the issue of the union. The husband survives as do the following children: Justin D. Call, Benjamin C. Call, William Vosco Call, Benjamin C [error but it is included in the paper] Esther C.Stuart, Margaret, and Waldemar Calll
