Mrs. W.T. "Bam" Edmiston died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston following a brief illness.
Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro were friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, January 29, 2009. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 30, 2009 at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill Staples officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Zion cemetery near Clay.
Mrs. Edmiston is survived by three daughters, Ethel Rinehart of Ruston, Nancy Walker of Ruston, Rita Cockerham of Mt. Olive; three sons, Jim Edmiston of Vernon, Lemoin Edmiston of Ruston, Calvin Edmiston of Ruston; sister-in-law, Willie Mae Harris; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Edmiston was preceded in death by parents, John and Nancy (Cox) Nazworth; husband W. T. Edmiston; daughters, Marjorie Otwell and Rebecca McDaniel; infant twin sons; grandsons, Travis Edmiston and B.J. Spillers; a great-granddaughter.
