SSgt Jesse Childress was a member of the United States Air Force Reserves. He was one of the 12 Aurora, Colorado, movie theater mass-shooting victims. He was injured in the shooting and died of his injuries at the hospital.
He lived in Thornton, Colorado, and was single. The Air Force reservist was a cyber-system operator at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora.
