ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Nancy Farrior Jussely Lyle, 91, of 291 Chelveston Drive died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Rev. Knox Tabb Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Edgemoor ARP Church cemetery.
A native of Kenansville, N.C., Mrs. Lyle was a daughter of the late John Edward Jussely and Clara Virginia Hinson Jussely. She was a member of the S.C. Daughters of the American Revolution where she was the District II director, was a state conference hostess, was the state registrar, served on the Tamassee School Board, served on the Junior American Citizens and served on the Energy Ethics Committee. She was an officer of the Palmetto State Officers Club, the State Regents Club, the State Resolutions Committee and the State Nominating Committee. She was a member of the Rock Hill Country Club, the Gen. Andrew Jackson Chapter U.S.D., the National Society Magna Carta Dames, the National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century, the Huguenot Society of South Carolina, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the United States Daughters of the War of 1812 and the National Society Daughters of the American Colonists. She helped open the Social Security Administration in Rock Hill and was a member of Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church. She was the widow of the Honorable David Lyle.
Surviving are her son, David Lyle III of Summerville; three daughters, Nancy Lyle Davis and Martha Lyle Poole, both of Rock Hill, and Isabel Lyle Tabb of Atlanta; two sisters, Isabel J. Robertson and Priscilla J. Robertson, both of Mount Pleasant; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
