William James Lennon was born in Dodge City, Ks. to Rev Lee Lennon, and Mrs. Annie Dora (Sanders) Lennon on Monday, June 14, 1954.
His hobbies included Amateur (HAM) Radio, his call sign was KC5DZM, enjoyed fishing, bowling, and going to the movies. Jim had many friends, especially those he made through his cancer treatment and volunteer work with the American Cancer Society. He annually participated in the Relay For Life and his presence is truly missed at Camp Bluebird Cancer Retreat of South Mississippi.
After his mother's death he moved to Pascagoula, Ms. with his brother Richard until their home was destroyed during hurricane Katrina. Jim and Richard left the Gulf Coast area and relocated to Caney, Kansas. By the middle of 2007 Jim's brain cancer had returned and this time it was inoperable.
William James Lennon died Friday, June 4, 2010 in Caney, Ks. His preceded in death by his father; Rev Lee Lennon, his mother and
step-father; Annie Dora (Sanders) Brown, Lennon, Good and Eldon C Good
He his survived by his brothers; David (Karen) Brown of San Diego, Ca. and Richard Brown of Caney, Ks., his sister; Iris (Denis) Armstrong of Eldridge, Ia., nieces, nephews, numerous other family members and many close friends.
