Col Andrew Hampton
Birth: 1713
Death: 1805
North Carolina, USA

REVOLUTIONARY WAR PATRIOT
COL. ANDREW HAMPTON
b (about)1713 - d 1805
A son of Col. Andrew Hampton was thought to be
Ezekiel Hampton Sr. Now evidence, such as Col. Andrew Hampton's 1805 will suggest Ezekiel's father may have been a cousin, also named Andrew, of Granville Co. (far north/central NC) who moved to Georgia.

The Gravesite Marker Stone incription of Col. Andrew Hampton reads as the following:
ANDREW
HAMPTON
COL
KINGS MTN REGT
REV WAR
1713 - 1805

Children as stated in his will: Washington, "my children or there Heirs as afoursaid namely Jonathan, Susanah, Andrew, John, Elizabeth, Nancy, Benjamin Alcie, Rachel, & Mary, Adam, Michel & Catharine Dead" (Notice: no Ezekiel)
