A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, in River View Cemetery chapel for Donald Gordon McKay, who died Oct. 4 of cancer at age 77.
Donald Gordon McKay was born Jan. 27, 1931, in Medford. He served in the Army. He graduated from Southern Oregon State College and had a master's degree in counseling from Portland State University. He also graduated from Western States Chiropractic College. He was a vocational rehabilitation counselor for the state of Oregon. In 1982, he married Judith Easton.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Aine Sonnen, Tamara Gaylord, Sheila Hoover, Kristan Lewis and Heather Fowler; and 12 grandchildren.
