He was born April 19, 1941 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the son of the late Elbert Sr. and Sibyl Griffin.
He was of the Methodist faith, Emergency Manager for NWA Hamm Operations and Net Manager for Razorback Traffic Net.
He is survived by one son, James Randolph Sabin of Van Buren; sister, Janet Griffin Skelton of Kemah, Texas, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral service was held 1:00 p.m. Monday May 2, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Chapel with interment at Roselawn Cemetery, Fort Smith.
