JUNCTION CITY - Thomas Alford, 91, of Lexington, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011.
Born October 13, 1919, in Lincoln County, he was the son of Garrett and Beryl Marlow Alford. He was a machinist for BUDD Corp. and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Thompson Alford; a son, Richard Thomas Alford of Lexington; a stepdaughter, Donna Byrd of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Alice Wilson of Moreland and Elvira Campbell of Stanford; and one step-grandchild.
Visitation will be 11 a. m. - 1 p. m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City.
A private graveside service will be held.
