Edwin "Eddie" Giles Pittman ROCK HILL

Mr. Edwin "Eddie" Giles Pittman, 66, of Rock Hill, S.C., went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.

Services for Mr. Pittman will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Catawba Baptist Church, 1450 S. Anderson Road, with the Rev. Ronald Richardson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Grandview Memorial Park-Cherry Road.

Born in Rock Hill, Mr. Pittman was the son of the late Sampson Pharr Leazer and the late Betty Hardin Pittman. He was a member of Catawba Baptist Church and a retired truck driver for Caraustar.

He was also a State Constable, served in the National Guards, and was a member of the American Legion and VFW.

Mr. Pittman is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carol Costner Pittman; his son, Brian Pittman and wife, Judy of Rock Hill; his daughters, Kristi Ann Bisignano and husband, Tom of Charlotte, N.C., and Ann Ives and husband, Jeremy of Lake Wylie, S.C.; his brothers, Billy Pittman and Raymond Pittman; his sisters, Sarah Ellen Carroll, Francine Murray, Deborah Bennett, Barbara Pittman, Vicki Rast and Terry Dean; and his grandchildren, Kenslie Dotseth, Dominic Bisignano, Abigail Ives and Brianna Pittman. Mr. Pittman was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all he loved.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel.
