Major League Baseball Player. He was a right-handed pitcher for the Chicago White Sox from 1909 to 1917. In his nine year ML career, he played in 317 games, 226 as a starting pitcher. He won 107 and lost 113 games with an earned run average of 2.30. He struck out 945 batters. His best year on the mound was 1915 when he won 24 games. (bio by: Mel Bashore)
