Audrey B. McClain, age 95, passed away Nov. 13, 1999, at a Manor Care nursing center in Okla. City where she had been a resident for the past six years. She was born April 9, 1904, in McLoud, Okla., to J.R. and Pearlie Beesley. After graduating from McLoud High School, she attended college and then taught school at Dale and Harrah. She married Haskell McClain and they moved to Okla. City where she lived until the time of her death. She was a very active member of the Trinity BaptistChurch where she taught an adult ladies class for thirty-three years. Audrey was a very devoted wife and loved her family very much. She was a caring, loving person who was always willing to help where there was a need. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters, Alberta Munig and Mildred Lawrence; and one brother, Dewey Beesley. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
