Bill Aly, age 89, of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014, in Lewisville. He was born September 18, 1924 in Carrollton to Abraham A. Aly and Maude Eva Smith Aly. Bill served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He married Barbara Burchett on January 31, 1947 in Dallas. Bill was a member of First Baptist Church in Lewisville and retired as Captain from the University Park Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Debra Spagnolo and husband, Mark; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and five brothers. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family asks for memorial contributions to be made to First Baptist Church of Lewisville
