Mrs. Gabeline was born at Yarmouth April 23, 1902, the daughter of John and Caroline Abel Coppes. She was married at Burlington to Gaine Gabeline on February 11, 1928. They lived at Yarmouth since their marriage. She was correspondent in Yarmouth for The Hawk-Eye Gazette.
She is survived by her husband, 2 sons, a brother, Vallie, and her mother, Mrs. John Coppes, both of Yarmouth.
Private services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Elliott chapel in New London. Reverend J. Lynn Pace, pastor of Yarmouth Baptist church, will officiate, assisted by Reverend Charles Gross, of the Yarmouth Methodist church. Burial will be in Trinity cemetery near Yarmouth.
