Mrs. Birdie Dorris Ely, widow of the late Marion Ely, died Sunday, November 27, 1977 at Lakewood, Colo. after a lengthy illness.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hugh Hudson of Lakewood, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Davis Applewhite, of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. John Gibson of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother R. B. Dorris of Memphis.
Funeral services will be conducted at First Baptist Church in Winona conducted by Rev. David Pratt at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge.
