| Birth: | 1880 | | Death: | 1942 Paris Paris Ile-de-France, France | Musican and Actor. He is also listed as an architect in some descriptions. Very little is known about him. He is remembered for his one desire in death to forever gaze on the face of his wife. The grave monument was designed by Belgian sculptor Adolphe Wansart (1873-1954) and constructed in 1946. The Epitaph on the grave reads: Ils furent emerveilles du beau voyage qui les mean jusq'au buot de la vie. (They marveled at the beauty of the journey that brought them to the end of life). Arbelot died in Paris, France, during the German Nazi occupation. One story is that he murdered his wife and committed suicide, but this is not confirmed. There are very few records currently available to indicate what he achieved in life, including the name of his wife, or her place of burial. (bio by: Kit and Morgan Benson)
