ESTERLY, DEAN KAY, 77 of Louisville, died November 16, 2006 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was in the US Navy 30 years, he was an ROTC instructor at Shawnee High School for 23 years.
He was an Eagle Scout and, member Boaz #850, Scottish Rite and Kosair Shrine, York Rite,. He is recipient of the Membership Award, Knight Commander of the Temple and Knight Templar Cross of Honor from the Grand Encampment.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven E. Esterly. Survivors his wife, the former Lesley H. Baker, daughter, Linda K. Esterly-Birch, son, David K. Esterly and granddaughter, Esterly.
Memorial service Saturday, 2 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Visitation 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Donations to: Knights Templar Eye Foundation.
