Death: Aug. 28, 1852

Affa Jane Armstrong at the age of 17 married Robert Brown in Macoupin, IL on May 4, 1852. After about three months of marriage she passed away. I've seen were some think she died in child birth, but I have not been able to prove that.

Her father was Maurice J Armstrong 1800-1876
Her mother was Elizabeth Sims 1805-1880

Robert went on to marry again and had six children. His oldest daughter was named Affa Jane Brown. I think this is why some believe it was from his first wife.

Robert Brown moved away to Missouri became a judge and also served in the government of that state.

Just a thought of sweet remembrance Just a memory, sad and true Just the love and sweet devotion Of the one who thinks of you. Though your life was short, you are not forgotten.
