Six-year-old girl who was killed by a teenager driving a car (the victim was riding her bicycle with her father, brother, and a friend) at Miranda Avenue in Palo Alto on January 28, 2003. Her death was the subject of further improvments of bicycle and road safety in Palo Alto, California (the road did not have any bicycle lanes). Her grandfather was Ken Melmon.
