Like all our fuzzies, Jessie came to the family from the ferret rescue and shelter that serves our area. Jessie was like a wee human in many ways, cuddly, dependent and so affectionate - loving her family both furred and non-furred :). Jessie was deaf and had poor vision, both of which often occur genetically with a color marking called a blaze. It didn't slow her down any!
I miss you, Jessie.
"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own live within a fragile circle , easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully
understanding the necessary plan..."

"The Once and Again Prince"
