John W. Sanders Former Resident Dies at age 72
John W. Sanders, 72, former Shreveport resident, died Wednesday at Livingston, Calif., where he had made his home for several years, following a long illness.
A Native of Bienville Parish, Mr. Sanders had been a carpenter in Shreveport. He moved to California about 5 years ago. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Livingston.
Mr. Sanders is survived by his widow; a son, Mark, of Downey Calif.; three brothers, J. L. and Z. T. Sanders of Shreveport and Leonard, Dallas, Tex., four sisters, Mrs. T. J. Murphy and Mrs. L. V. Smith, Shreveport, Mrs. Fannie Staples, Castor, and Mrs. George Graul, Dallas, Tex., and four grandchildren.
Funeral services are incomplete.
