Henry was a "PLANK OWNER" of HA(L)-3 and was a LTJG at the time attached to HC-1 Det 21 and Det Vung Tau (Pre-Commissioning Unit set up to form HA(L)-3) from 12/31/1966 to 2/11/1967, and later HA(L)-3 Det 4, 2/11/1967 to 11/2/1967.
Henry got the nickname "Pistol" from his Grandfather when he was in High School in MS.
