WIFE OF ROY M. GANDY

DOLLIE McCULLEY GANDY, 73, departed this life on December 17, 2006. She was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 491 E. McLemore, and worked in the Library and NIE Department at the Commercial Appeal for 35 years before retiring in 1994. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, December 19 at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, and on Wednesday, December 20 from 12:45-1:45 p.m., with service following immediately at 2 p.m., with interment at 9 a.m. Thursday, December 21 in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Roy M. Gandy; one daughter, Nanette Gandy; one sister, Della B. Crite; four nieces, two nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Birda McCulley, and one sister, Rose Lee Mayo. Superior Funeral Home (Published in The Commercial Appeal on 12/19/2006)

Missing you. I got 'homesick' last night thinking about another CA employee. I don't know that I fully appreciated what a wonderful group of coworkers I was privileged to work with but I knew you were tops. Miss & love you. RIP
