"The Plymouth Pilot News" DIES IN ACTION - Another Plymouth youth has paid the supreme sacrifice in this war. He is Pvt. (f.c.) Oliver Junior Keyser, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Keyser of this city. Word of the death reached his sister, Mrs. Gracie May Krou, 713 West Adams Street, Monday.
Pvt. (f.c.) Keyser entered the service as a member of a tank destroyer on February 15, 1943 and recieved training at Camp Hood, Texas, prior to going overseas in October 1943. When last heard from he was stationed at the Anzio beachhead, Italy. The War Department communication stated he was killed in action on May 25 (1944).
Other survivors are three sisters, Miss Betty Keyser of South Bend, Miss Fern Keyser and Mrs. Florence McGriff of Plymouth, and three brothers, LaMar and Charlie of Plymouth and Francis of South Bend.
