John William "Bill Fooshe, Jr., 68, loving companion of Linda Walden and widower of Genevieve Sloan Richardson Fooshe, passed away June 10, 2012, at his home in Summerville after less than a year's valiant fight with cancer.
No services are planned at this time in Summerville. A private celebration of life will be held later. A memorial service will be held in McCormick on July 5th.
Bill was born December 9, 1943, in McCormick, SC, son of the late John William and Katheryn Self Fooshe.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves and was a Master Mason at Masonic Lodge #234 in Summerville.
He was the retired owner of Atlantic Diesel in Summerville and loved working with antique tractors.

Survivors include his loving companion and care taker Linda Walden; his children: Michael W. Fooshe (Shari) of Dickson, TN, Andrea F. Urias of Livingston, TX and Karen F. Goertz (Ron) of Livingston, TX; Dayton V. "Rickie" Richardson (Sheri) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Troy R. Johnson (Johnny) of Summerville, SC, David D. Richardson (Nancy) of Summerville, SC, Laura R. Tyson (David) of Summerville, SC, Paul Richardson (Tammy) of Summerville, SC; Michelle W. Williams of James Island, SC, Elizabeth W. Perez (Juan) of Goose Creek and Michael Walden of Summerville, SC, 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, sisters: Jacqueline F. Court (Bernard) of North Augusta, SC, Rosemary F. Pettus of McCormick, SC, and Kim F. Taylor of Greenville, SC; brother: David S. Fooshe (Cindi) of Portland, OR; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends whom he enjoyed and loved dearly.
Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend.
