1925 - 2013
Mona Marie Robinson Musser Price, 87, of Flatwoods, passed away Friday afternoon at Trinity Station following an extended illness.
Mona was born January 27, 1925, in Elliott County, Ky., a daughter of the late Ellis Sr., and Elizabeth Pennington Robinson.
She was a retired clerk for Hill's Department Store, a former member of Order of Eastern Star, #567 Westwood Chapter and a member of Westwood Enterprise Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mona was preceded in death by two husbands, Alpha Mason Musser andGeorge W. Price, one sister, Monda Lee Mullins, and four brothers, Woodrow Robinson, Everett Robinson, Frank Robinson, and infant Billy Ray Robinson.
She is survived by three sons, Charles Ray Musser of Wurtland, Mitchell Joe Musser of Ashland, and Ronald M. (Sue) Musser of Proctorville, OH., one daughter, Edith Ann Hicks of Flatwoods, one brother, Ellis Robinson, Jr., of Paintsville, KY., former son-in-law, James G. Hicks of Flatwoods, one granddaughter, Emily Gayle Musser of Ashland, two grandsons, James A. Hicks and Jerald E. Hicks, both of Flatwoods, and a host of extended family and
friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013, by Pastor Ron Musser, at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
