Born Leslie Ora Thralls, daughter of Ernest Ora Thralls and Erna Emilie Lengtat. She attended high school in Pasadena then attended Pasadena City College. She worked for 20 years at the regional office for Allstate Insurance Co, before she retired. She had been married to her first husband, Fredrick C. Burkhart, for 39 years when he suddenly passed away in 1978. She later married Cecil Nolan a retired chef. She liked to do crafts, and she painted beautifully. Cecil built wooden birdhouses, and other yard and household decorations for her and she would paint and display them, or give them as gifts. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Nolan, sister, Lorraine (Thralls) Price, a stepson, William Burkhart, her daughter, Judy (Burkhart) Rutherford, her son, Donald Burkhart and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
