Bob Asper, 75, of Enola and formerly of Marysville, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep from complications of diabetes Wednesday, October 13. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy.
He was the retired president of First National Bank of Marysville (with 43 years of service) and a life member of Marysville Lions Club. He was also a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award from Lions International, which is the organization's highest form of recognition for humanitarianism.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by twin sons, Richard (of Marysville) and Wayne (of Enola); a grandson, Michael (of Marysville; husband of Jessie Asper); and two great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at the discretion of the family.
