After 1940 Lester C. "Gus" Gustin II married Marie "Maggie" S. Abbott, until her death in Florida. Their children: Lester Carlisle "Carl" Gustin III, Stella Shepard Gustin, and Charles Abbott Gustin.

1977 Lester C."Gus" Gustin II married Anne R. Mackie Enright in Winchester's First Congregational Church by the minister and a Catholic priest.

LESTER GUSTIN, 70 RETIRED REAL ESTATE AGENT Lester C. Gustin, Jr., 70, of Winchester, a retired real estate agent and past president of Gustin Corp. in Winchester, died Monday in Winchester Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Arlington, Mr. Gustin was a 1935 graduate of Winchester High School and attended Babson College.
He was the president of the company, which supplied structural steel to construction projects throughout New England, from the 1950s until he sold it in 1963.
In 1963, he moved to Cape Coral, Fla., where he owned a plastics manufacturing company.
While in Cape Coral, he was president of the Cape Coral Rotary Club and headed a drive that established a memorial to Vietnam Veterans. He returned to Winchester in 1976, and until the early 1980s he worked for the Marr Companies in South Boston.
Mr. Gustin was a real estate broker with the Sherman R. Josephson Real Estate Agency in Winchester from 1981 until his retirement in 1984.

An Army lieutenant colonel during World War II, he was a member of the American Legion Post No. 97, Winchester, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3719, Winchester. He was also a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants.

Mr. Gustin leaves his wife, Anne (Enright); two sons, Lester Carlisle 3d of Natick and Charles Abbot Gustin of Milford; a daughter, Stella Shepard Gustin of Clearwater, Fla.; a brother, James Gustin of Brewster; three grandchildren and six stepchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, in First Congregational Church, Winchester. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.

"Gus" was my mother's second husband (Anne Mackie Enright). He was a fine gentle man.
