Birth: Sep. 18, 1927
Death: May 5, 2003

Margaret was the second child of Albert Leo and Helen Steinhauser. Margaret was a woman with a quick wit, which left bystanders in hysterics. Margaret marred her sweetheart Vito Tagliente in 1953-1954, and had 2 children Michael and Lydia. The Taglientes lived in Astoria, New York where in 1973 the family was hit with a tragedy when Margie's husband Vito passed away. Margaret pushed her family along, picking up the slack and keeping her family afloat. In the mid-1990's Margie moved out to Long Island, where she lived out the rest of her days, close to her children, grandchildren, brother, and sisters. Margie passed away after a quick illness, her funeral card read a poem she wrote and had published.

My Shadow:
I have this little shadow, that always follows me, No matter where I have to go it keeps me company. It peeks over my shoulder, but never makes a sound, just a good friend to always have around. Like a guardian angel, it will surely be, step by step behind me forever silently.
