Daughter of James Lowell Emery and Evelyn Roselyn Clinton.
First marriage was to Steve Jewell. To this union, a son, John Alan was born. Her second marriage was to Roger Harold Marshall, May 8, 1976, Frankfort, Indiana. To this union, two more sons were born, Jason Alexander and Joshua Andrew.
She had struggled with a heart ailment for many years, but always kept herself busy and lived a full and productive life.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, was a volunteer for the Feast of the Hunters' Moon, voting polls, and for the Lafayette Urban Ministry.
An active member of the National Guards Ladies Auxilary, she was a labor coach for 55 babies and cared for children through CPS in Tippecanoe County. She also helped organize the women's auxiliary of the Indiana National Guard and assisted as a liaison with families and the National Guard.
She is missed by friends and family.
Surviving, also, are her mother, Evelyn Emery, two sisters, Kathy and Jeanne, and four brothers, Dennis, James, Randall, and Anthony, and 6 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death, by her father, a daughter, son and sister, Cynthia.
Hippensteel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
(Although there is a stone at the cemetery, her ashes were scattered in Tennessee.)
