Josephine "Josie" Chapple, the daughter of Joseph Chapple and Estella Smith, was born January 11, 1927 and died of lobular pneumonia on April 24, 1928. Her burial was handled by I. S. Lewis Funeral Home and she was interred in the Evergreen Negro Cemetery, Houston, TX on April 26, 1928.
