"Spike" was born to Ruth and George Evelo in Indiana. He grew up in Bellaire, Tx, and attended St. Vincent dePaul School.
He served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid bowler and golfer, and his infectious smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a member of Houston Bowling Association. He worked at several bowling centers in Houston, Western Auto Service Center in Spring Branch, and was a State auto inspector at Cedel Garage in the Spring Branch area for many years.
PID by parents and sister, Mary Ann Bosworth. Survived by wife, Paula (nee Pierce) Evelo.
Funeral liturgy was held on Friday, March 17 at St. Jerome Catholic Church. Interment followed at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
