Council Bluffs, Ia.,
March 24.-The tail of the twister struck the outskirts of Council Bluffs and late reports this morning give the total death list as eight. There were seventeen persons known to be injured by falling walls and the property damage is estimated at $200,000. Dead: Mr. and Mrs. James R. Rice, Mrs. John Schultz, infant child of Peter Norgard, --Hawkins, Mrs. William L. Poole, Mrs. Lon Thomas, Mrs. W. Swindermann.
