Mooresboro, N.C. - Roy "Paw" Beheler, 75, of McCraw Road, died on Monday, May 5, 2014, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

A native of Cleveland County, he was born on Dec. 23, 1938, a son of the late Will and Zennie Earls Beheler.

He was retired from Cone Mills and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Beheler and Jim Beheler; one sister, Betty Guest; one half sister, Donie Smith; one nephew, Ronnie Guest; and one niece, Carolyn Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Alleen Bailey Beheler; one son, Rickey Roy Beheler of Mooresboro; one daughter, Robin Taylor and husband Gary of Mooresboro; one sister, Geneva Thornton and husband Hubert of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Pamela Watkins, Jill Dixon, Ricky V. Beheler, and Haley Marie Beheler; great-grandchildren, Julian and Emily; one special friend, Laramie Short; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.
Funeral service 3 p.m. Thursday at Camps Creek Baptist Church
Officiated by: The Rev. Buddy Morehead officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery
