"ELIAS T. BRAGAW DEAD
Wall Street Broker for 40 Years Dies on His 91st Birthday. Milfortd, Conn., Jan. 10. -- Elias T. Bragaw, for forty years a Wall Street broker and the third oldest member of the original Stock Exchange, died of apoplexy Sunday on his ninety-first birthday at New London, Conn. He retired fifteen years ago. He was born in Newtown, N.Y. His father, Major William Bragaw, served in the War of 1812, and his grandfather served in the Revolutionary War in the Battle of Long Island and was a prisoner on the ship Jersey."
