James L. Brown, 90, of Matawan, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 in Cleveland Ohio.

He was born Nov. 20, 1919. He graduated from Admiral Farragut Academy, RPI and was a member of Delta Phi Fraternity. He was a Nuclear Physicist. He was a WWII A20 bomber pilot with over 100 missions in the South Pacific.

He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Louis Brown; a brother, Whited, and a sister, Joan.

He leaves behind his beloved Wife, Susanne Brown and her family; a nephew, Louis Green and his family, as well as his WWII Buddies.

Calling Hours will be on Friday June 25, 2010 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Waitt-Nelms Funeral Home, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Saturday from 10-11am at the funeral home and a service will take place at 11am followed by interment in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent, NJ.

The family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Blue Star Mothers of America by visiting or as well as the Palmonary Fibrous Foundation.
