Valentine A. Bustamante, 80, of Oceanside died May 2. He was born in Roswell, NM, and was a retired construction laborer.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine Bustamante; daughters, Mary Bustamante of Azusa, Debra Lochamy of San Antonio, Jovita Bustamante of Carlsbad, Monica Hiriarte of San Bernardino, Bellina Merced of Winchester, Dorothy Bandy of Roswell, NM, and Linda Stewart of Vista; sons, Valentine D. Bustamante of Huntsville, Ark, and Anthony Bustamante of Fayetteville, Ark; sisters, Theresa Perreira of Roswell, NM, Elisa Dobson of Tucson and Mary Martin of Casa Grande, Ariz; brothers, John Bustamante of Roswell, NM, and Gilbert Bustamante of Lancaster; 21 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mass 8am today, St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 4300 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside. Interment Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside.
