Ruby Katherine Zachry Davis, 85, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1993.
Mrs. Davis was born in Byers and lived in Indian Territory for a short time during her youth. She later moved to Happy where she graduated high school. She attended West Texas State University for a year and later moved to California where she spent most of her adult life. She returned to Canyon in 1973 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Clarence Zachary of Hugo, Okla., and H. Blake Zachary of Hobbs, N.M.; and a sister, Norma Dozier of Texarkana.
Burial was in the Dreamland Cemetery.
