Actress. Born in Baltimore, Maryland. Jane began her career at the age of ten performing in vaudeville. Next appearing on Broadway in "Are You With It?" and "On the Town." Her television credits included regular roles on Hey, Jeannie and Sgt. Bilko. She was 99's mother in the fourth series of Get Smart from 1965 to 1970, but is best remembered for her role in McHale's Navy from 1962 to 1966 as the man hungry Navy Nurse Molly Turner, who chased Ernest Borgnine throughout it's series' run. Jane made her movie debut in Roustabout in 1964. Jane was usually the comedy character actress, playing housewives, spinsters and tourists. However, for one season, she had a rare dramatic role as a nurse in the series Medical Center from 1969 to 1976. Her final television appearance was on Gimme A Break as Grandma Mildred Kanisky. Jane died from complications during heart surgery, she was 76 years old. (bio by: Shock)

Such a talented funny lady with a unique character. You were terrific as 99's mother in Get Smart. With all the numerous fine performances you have to your credit, you certainly deserve many more flowers and tributes sent your way. God Bless and Peace.
