Prentice Ray Wornick, 68, a longtime resident of Pasadena, died Friday, March 15, 1991 in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. A. M. Stone of Timber Grove Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Grand View Cemetery where American Legion Post No. 521 Memorial will provide military honors.
A native of Troup, Wornick was a World War II veteran serving in the Navy and was a retired boiler operator for the Ethyl Corp. He was a member of Timber Grove Baptist Church in Houston.
He was survived by his wife; a son and daughter-in-law; a daughter and son-in-law; two grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law; mother-in-law, Lela Hart; four nephews; one great-nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be David Wilkerson, Anthony Brandt, Jay Sadler, Mike Sadler, Paul Sadler and Royce Ray.
