Richard James Delameter

Richard James Delameter, 81, passed away Dec. 24 in Loma Linda. He was born July 20, 1928 in Pueblo, Colo., and served in the Korean conflict with Coltons Company B, 224th Infantry, 40th Division, California National Guard as a sergeant in the Weapons Platoon.
In 1974, Richard received recognition from the American College of Life Underwriters. He retired in 1980.
Richard lived in Highland for the past 27 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Gail Moore; a son, Glen Alan Delameter; two brothers, Charles and Thomas Delameter; and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Jennifer, and Douglas Moore.
Services scheduled Friday, Jan. 8, at 1 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area 5. A memorial service 3 p.m. Jan. 8 at Faith Bible Church, 2898 North G St., San Bernardino, Pastor John Frederick officiating.
